For three decades, Union Properties PJSC has been entrusted with developing key residential, commercial, industrial and leisure projects across Dubai.

Since starting operations in 1987, UP has proved itself to be a true pioneer of the UAE real estate sector, becoming a publicly traded company in 1993 and going on to develop landmark projects such as MotorCity, Dubai Autodrome, Green Community and Uptown MotorCity, Green Community East and West at Dubai Investment Park, Uptown Mirdiff, and Limestone House and Index Tower in the DIFC area.

For 30 years, Union Properties has held itself to the highest standards of design attention and build quality, putting liveability at the heart of its communities. Consequently, Union Properties ranks among the most trusted names in UAE real estate.

The operations of Union Properties extend beyond real estate investment and development to encompass project management, interior design and fit-out, property management and facilities management, creating a powerhouse of the UAE real estate sector.

Subsidiary companies include ServeU, The FITOUT, Thermo, GMAMCO, Edacom, and EMICOOL, Dubai Autodrome, and Marriot Executive Apartments and Courtyard by Marriott.

MR. NASSER BIN BUTTI OMAIR BIN YOUSEF

CHAIRMAN

Nasser Butti Omair Bin Yousef was appointed Chairman of Union Properties in May 2017. A prominent entrepreneur and experienced leader, he is ideally placed to spearhead Union Properties’ growth strategy. As Chairman, Mr. Bin Yousef is leading the restructuring of the business to establish a highly efficient and fully integrated real estate developer and property manager. Alongside his work at Union Properties, Mr. Bin Yousef is currently Chairman of several prestigious companies, including Bin Butti International Holding (BBIH), NBB Capital, OBN Oil, and Sky Telecom Group. He is also a former board member of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, and previously held the position of Honorary Chairman of the United Federation of Travel Agents’ Associations, as well as Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Public Relation Association, Abu Dhabi Travel & Tourism Agencies Council, Gulf Travel and Tourism Agencies Association Committee, and the Tourism and Rent-a-Car Committee at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce.

H.E. HAMAD ABDULLA MOHAMED ABDULLA ALMASS

VICE CHAIRMAN

His Excellency Hamad Abdulla Mohamed Abdulla AlMass is Vice Chairman of Union Properties. An experienced business leader, His Excellency is Managing Director of 2invest LLC and Chairman of the Investment Committee of 2invest LLC. Other positions currently held include Executive Director of International Economic Relations at the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, Chairman of the support committee for the UAE-UK Business Council, and Vice Chairman of the Emirates Public Relations Association (EPRA). His Excellency is also a board member of the National Tourism Committee at Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Material (BILDCO). His Excellency’s educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Master of Science with concentration in Finance, Bachelor of Arts major in Management, all from Marylhurst University in the United States.

MR. MOHAMED ABDELAZIZ ALI ABDALLA ALOWAIS

Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz Ali Abdalla AlOwais is a board member of Union Properties. Mr. Al Owais is currently Vice Chairman of United Foods Company, and sits on the boards of a number of prestigious companies, including Mawarid Finance PSC, Emirates Islamic Bank, Oman Refreshments Company, Dubai Refreshments Company, and Sky Net Worldwide Express. Mr. Al Owais graduated with a BSc degree in Communication Engineering from Etisalat College of Engineering, UAE with First Class (Honors) distinction. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah, and is currently a Chartered Financial Analyst Level 2 candidate.

RAJA AL MAZROUEI

BOARD MEMBER

Raja Al Mazrouei is a board member of Union Properties. She is currently acting Executive Vice President of FinTech Hive at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) where she oversees the innovation initiative that brings together key stakeholders to develop technologies for the financial industry. Previous roles at the DIFC include Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communication, Commissioner of Data Protection, and Head of Operations and Head of Information Technology at DIFC Authority. Earlier she served as Head of Information Technology at National Bonds Corporation, Director of IT Relationship Management at Dubai Holding and Systems Development Supervisor at Higher Colleges of Technology. Mrs. Al Mazrouei is an executive graduate from Harvard Business School, she holds an MBA in Global Leadership and Management from the United Arab Emirates University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology from the Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE. Mrs. Al Mazrouei is a member of the Harvard Business School MENA and Central Asia Advisory Board based in Boston and is the Vice President of Harvard Business School Club for the GCC.
